Total set for 230,000 bopd production in Angola
Total has announced that it has launched a full-scale operation on the Kaombo Sul project which is located in Angola.
This deal will lift the production capacities of the French oil major, as the Kaombo Sul project will add 155, 000 barrels of oil per day (bopd).
A statement issued by Total’s President of Exploration & Production, Arnaud Breuillac, said that the overall oil production at Koambo Sul project will be 230, 000 bopd.
“Its start-up will contribute to the group’s cash flow and production growth in 2019 and beyond,” Breuillac said.
